(More customer reviews)I look forward to getting my daily 1000mg of Omega 3 by eating 1 truffle square per day. My goal in purchasing these was to have a source of Omega 3 that tastes good enough for me to want to remember to take it every day. (I too often forget to take my yucky medicine every day) This works. I never forget to take it. (I'm often tempted to have more than 1 per day, which is good for your health, but I'm trying to stay within my budget)
Pros: This chocolate is uber-delicious! You seriously cannot taste the flax-seed oil, at all. I've tried--(flax seed oil, like fish oil is yucky). It also contains Omega 6 and 9, though I can't find anywhere on the packaging how much of each is in each serving.
Cons: It's more expensive than regular omega 3 pills, and more expensive than regular chocolate. It also only contains the ALA form of Omega 3, which is not as well absorbed by the body as the DHA form of Omega 3. (If you want a delicious source of DHA, try lil critters Omega gummies, though they only contain 100mg/gummy, so you have to eat 10 gummies to get your daily 1000mg, or try Coromega, the best-tasting fish-oil supplement I've tried)
Also, I've done a lot of price researching, and Amazon's subscription price (15% off) is the best price you will find anywhere for these, especially after the free shipping.
