(More customer reviews)I unwisely purchased this 6-pack of 16-ounce boxes when I first introduced solids into my baby's diet. It turned out that rice cereal (typically recommended as the first solid food to start with) causes severe constipation in my daughter. So, after 2 weeks, I had to switch to oatmeal cereal (also, the Gerber brand), which was instantly a great hit with my baby!
So, I recommend that you first buy one box, if you are only just beginning to introduce solids, to see if rice cereal is the right first solid food for your baby.
I am sure it works just fine for many babies; and I have no complaints whatsoever with regards to how quickly the product arrived or the condition it arrived in (very nicely packaged).
